BENEFICIILE IN MEDICINA TRADITIONALA

Terapiile in medicina traditionala erau aplicate pentru tratarea bolilor corpului uman in practica medicala traditionala a marilor civilizatii: medicina traditionalaegipteana, chineza, tibetana, indiana, tracica, persana, amerindiana etc.

Tratamentele traditionale, insa, actioneaza atat asupra cauzelor, cat si a efectelor secundare provocate de prezenta afectiunii in organism.Acupunctura in medicina traditionala

THE BENEFITS IN TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

The traditional medicine therapies used to be applied in the treatment of the human body’s diseases in the traditional medicine practice of the great Egyptian, Chinese, Tibetan, Indian, Thracian, Persian, American-Indian and other civilisations. A number of methods have survived time, and the traditional medicine masters use them in their treatments, trying to preserve the treatment protocol and the administration methodology described by the ancient civilisations.medicina traditionalaOur ancestors used to employ the medicinal herbs as treatment base and they used to increase the action of the curative substances with the help of acupuncture, thermotherapy, massage, physical activity, melotherapy, psychotherapy, etc. This complex of therapies acts upon the physical body, the spirit and the brain by annulling firstly the causes and then the secondary effects of the illness.

Ever since my student years at the Faculty of Medicine, I have studied these concepts, gradually realising how this branch of medicine is the only one able to provide a physician with the necessary mechanisms to enable him act in a complex way upon a disease and restore a patient’s good health condition. I also realized that the traditional medicine therapies and the naturopathic medication are the only things able to treat the human body’s diseases without adverse effects, acting upon the human body’s three dimensions: physical, energetic and mental ones. Approaching the human body from the holistic perspective, the traditional treatments act upon the mentioned ensemble, treating not only each organ individually, but also the system they are a part of; a thing which cannot be achieved through the modern therapies, because the treatments aim at balancing an organ without taking into account the whole it belongs to and the disorders present in other organs as well.

Acupunctura in medicina traditionala

In emergency situations, it is recommended to intervene surgically or to stabilize the patient by allopathic treatment methods (as is the case of certain cystic formations, uterine fibromas of large sizes, tumors, etc.) Should the cause of the patient’s disease be maintained, there will be relapses of the disease in the future, at the level of the same organ or organs, under various forms of manifestation. In these emergency situations, the allopathic medicine can intervene by annuling the effects of the disease; as for treating the causes and the disorders that triggered the disease, it finds itself helpless. But the traditional treatments act both upon the causes and the secondary effects caused by the presence of the disease in the body.

At the same time, the traditional treatment cleanses the body and the tissues of bacteria, viruses and their toxins; it stimulates the body’s own regenerating and defence processes and it harmonises the organic functions. At cellular level, it acts for the stimulation of the oxygenation and detoxification processes, which are very productive in the rejuvenation techniques.

If we analyse the history of medicine, we will see how the synthesis medication formulae are based upon naturopathic therapeutical ones, as – in the past – the physicians would administer natural-component containing products. The present-day medicine is trying to replicate the respective formulae and to reconstruct their action, but as a rule the formulae use only one part of the component with curative effects, therefore the action, too, of the employed products will not reach the level of the herbal formulae. The Creator gave the herbs to the mankind to maintain and support life. The fact that the naturopathic formulae are the only things able to preserve the human body’s genetic balance in order to protect it from the viruses’ and bacteria’s action proves it. From this reason, the classical medication acts only at chemical and physical level, being unable to act also upon the human being’s energetic structure or upon the spiritual component.
Unlike the synthesis medication, the herbs can differentiate healthy cells from sick ones; and they will remove only those with a deteriorated structure and function, at the same time helping the healthy ones restore the activity of the affected tissue or organ.

In treating a disease and the complex of effects it brings upon the patient’s psycho-affective activity, the physician must act properly also upon the nervous system to eliminate the stress and the tension caused by the disease itself, by the present-day society’s lifestyle and by the patient’s social, professional and familial environment. The patient must be guided to achieve also spiritual balance and harmony, despite the context he may find himself in, because this way his body will mobilize all its resources to recover.

The traditional Chinese medicine mentions another aspect that must be taken into consideration: the human body is made up of five elements maintaining the body’s balance and ensuring the good health condition. This balance together with the transmutation cycle of the elements can be restored only through traditional therapies and herbal treatment, because this type of treatment is the only one capable of acting upon the energy structures and directly upon the causes that made the patient fall ill.

* This type of treatment is available only at Pirasan Centre of Traditional Medicine
* The results of the treatment vary from patient to patient even with the same disease, because each patient is unique; each body has its specificity.
